You will be buying a matching leather handle and strap accessory set for your Brompton.
They are crafted using finest English full grain oak bark tanned leather from J & FJ Baker tannery in Devon.
The HANDLE is fully handstitched using waxed linen thread, and sits around the frame to help with carrying your bicycle.
It is fastened at the bottom with press studs and has two straps at each end for extra strength.
The WHEEL FRAME STRAP prevents the wheel from unfolding when the seat is lifted for ‘shopping cart’ mode.
It is crafted with two layers of full grain oak bark tanned leather and uses two Sam Browne studs for fasteners.
I can make the Handle and strap in Black, Australian Nut brown or London colour using nickel or brass fittings. Have a look at the photos to choose and let me know when you place your order.
They can be personalised with name or initials for free.

Oak bark tannage is a long, gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide unlike modern tanning methods.
The tannery sources hides locally as a by-product of the meat industry and they are tanned using only oak bark and water for minimal environmental impact.
It takes 14 months to produce each piece of leather using this age old technique, making the leather stronger and more durable over time.
It is full grain leather, not corrected grain, meaning that there will be natural blemishes and stretch marks which add a lovely unique quality to the product.
